We are currently looking for an experienced Test Analyst to join our client's rapidly expanding team and drive quality improvements for testing. You will contribute to first-class end-to-end solutions and play an active role in defining the business' practices,standard and ways of working. Our client offers excellent opportunities for training and career progression.
**Role overview**:
- Working in an Agile multi-discipline Scrum team
- Take responsibility for test planning and execution, primarily of functional system tests
- Analysing customer requirements, identifying test cases, writing/automating test scripts, test data preparation and execution of tests
- Coaching and mentoring of junior resources and non-testers to upskill them in the testing discipline
**Requirements (not all are essential)**:
- Excellent understanding and experience of test techniques
- Risk Based Testing (RBT or FMEA)
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level certification
- Knowledge of testing frameworks for automation, test tools such as Selenium, Gherkin/Cucumber
- Database and environment management skills e.g. SQL and UNIX
- JIRA and Confluence
- AWS/Azure Cloud
- COBOL/Mainframe environment
**This role allows for remote working with a base in Telford. Expected to be working on site a few days per month.**
