We are looking for a Payroll & Benefits Assistant, that will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our People Team, providing a valuable support on a day to day basis as well as having the opportunity to contribute to some key projects.

You will be responsible for assisting with Payroll processing, People administration, and maintaining our systems. This position is perfect for someone who is organised, tech-savvy, and passionate about people operations.

**What you’ll be involved with**:

- Work closely with the Total Reward Manager managing payroll data, making changes and ensuring accuracy.
- Assistance with the day to day administration of employee benefits, including pension administration, healthcare enrolment, holiday purchase and company fleet
- Maintain and update systems including Payroll, ATS and eLearning, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Monitoring holidays, probationary periods and sickness, providing meaningful data and reports.
- Documenting processes and procedures.

**What you’ll be good at**:

- You should be an experienced People & Payroll assistant with a keen eye for detail.
- A ‘can-do’ attitude with an excellent attitude to work
- The ability to remain calm and consistent under pressure
- A team player with a flexible and reliable approach
- Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively
- Good working knowledge of HRIS systems
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and confident in the use of Word, PowerPoint and Outlook;
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good inter-personal skills, a welcoming and confident approach with the ability to liaise across a range of people, internally and externally;
- Good initiative and problem-solving skills

You will ideally be proficient with systems, including:

- Cascade
- Kallidus
- Networx
