Equans is looking for a Electrical Supervisor to join our team in West Malling, covering our Contracts in the South of England. This is a permanent full time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle and benefits package.
The position reports to the local business unit and will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal customers and external customers/Organisations. Working across various projects and contracts undertaking electrical safety inspections on direct labour, agency staff and contractors ensuring that Equans comply with current regulations, standards and manufacturer’s instructions. Provide technical support to operations on a day to day basis.
What will you deliver?
Undertake post, complete and work in progress inspections of electrical operatives carrying out work for Equans as required
Inspections will be prioritized in order of high-risk areas either in terms of H&S, complexity of work, K.P.I failure or shortfall, previous poor performance.
To be continually aware of the strengths and weaknesses in the team and Inspect accordingly
Training and developing members of the team on standards procedures
Develop effective working relationships through leadership, motivation, influencing skills and support
Act upon shortfalls in performance and standards and ensure Corrective Actions are implemented, including using the disciplinary procedures where required.
Ensure continuous improvement of service delivery through best practice

Who are we looking for?
Experience in all types of electrical work to provide a quality inspection service.
Experience of working in partnership with other agencies.
Experience of supervising a team to achieve successful outcomes on projects.
Previous Electrical Installation, Inspection and Maintenance experience
City and Guilds 2330-07 Level 3 (Electrical Installation) or alternative evidence of electrical skills set qualification.
City and Guilds 2382-10 (18th Edition I.E.E Wiring Regulations or equivalent)
City and Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent
Electro Technical Certification Scheme (ECS) approved
