Sales Assistant

A great opportunity to work in a family owned business that's been an integral part of Bedford's HIgh Street for over 30 years

All Ears is an iconic shop in Bedford selling alternative & ethnic clothes, jewelry, crystals, accessories, bags and soft furnishings. Customers often have an interest spiritual matters and this position would really suit someone with an interest in spirituality and alternative lifestyles.

**Duties**:

- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic understanding of retail math, including calculating discounts and sales tax
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling
- Prior experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
