We are currently looking for a Light Goods Vehicle Mechanic to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
The position is for a mechanic for our works unit based in Kingswinford.
You must be experienced, reliable and able to work on your own initiative.
As a Vehicle Technician you will be a key member of our team, maintaining vehicles to the highest standards and your role will include the following;
- Carry out servicing and repairs on a variety of makes and classes of vehicle, mostly LGV. Examples jobs include general servicing, brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension, exhaust repairs (including EGR and DPF) and wiring repairs.
- Diagnose complex faults using diagnostic equipment including electrical and mechanical faults.
- Diagnose faults reported by customer including going on test drives to identify noises, rattles, judders, vibrations etc.
- Assist other technicians when help is needed.
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- The ability to solve problems by researching a solution (eg. Using internet, Autodata etc)
- Administration of paperwork required, job cards to be completed electronically.
We require someone to work Mon-Fri, there is an option for overtime and further weekend work if you require.

Pay: £38,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
