Woodyard Operator

Good Afternoon,

We are looking for a woodyard operator, the job will primarily be timber crane operating.

Your main responsibilities will be to load our timber shredder with logs and greenwaste and make a woodchip shred.

From time to time you maybe asked to load lorries with the telehandler.

We are looking for someone who is capable of working as part of a team but also as an individual, someone who is hands on and happy to get involved. The yard is outside but the timber crane has a covered cab.

You'll need a working understanding of machinery, capable of greasing and blowing down the machinery daily.

PAYE contract or self employed contracts available.

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maidstone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
