Hiab - Peterborough

We are currently seeking regular drivers to provide coverage during holidays and on Saturdays for Lorry Loaders, starting as soon as possible. Additionally, from the beginning of March, during the peak period, we will require the same drivers to work on a schedule from Monday to Friday (alternating Saturdays). Training is set to start in mid-February

If you possess an ALLMI C5+E license, have a solid background in Hiab operations we strongly encourage you to apply

**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a Class 2 Hiab Lorry Loader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation and delivery of building products to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating a Class 2 vehicle with a Hiab crane attachment.
- Loading and unloading building products onto and from the vehicle using the Hiab crane.
- Safely securing and fastening cargo to prevent damage during transportation.
- Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
- Providing exceptional customer service during product deliveries.
- Adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation.

**Qualifications**:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- Valid ALLMI C5+E license.
- ALLMI HIAB GRAB license with relevant experience.
- Class 2 driving license.
- Excellent driving skills and and no more than 6 points on your license.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness to perform loading/unloading tasks.
- Attention to detail and a safety-oriented mindset.

**Salary**: £17.00-£25.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence, cpc and tacho (preferred)
- ALLMI HIAB GRAB Licence (preferred)
