Storesperson

ACE Winches are currently recruiting a Storesperson to provide support to the Stores team, to help grow & maintain the stock system whilst effectively managing inward and outward stock movements. Ensuring that Stores inventory records including all associated documentation and Equipment are maintained accurately. To help with the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment from jobs.

**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure safe unloading/loading of all purchased goods within Goods Inward area / yard.
- To check all materials against purchase orders and process accurate documentation as per ACE Winches procedures.
- To ensure all goods are stored safely within job location bins or stock product bins and in accordance with ACE Winches procedures.
- To ensure the correct issue of stock parts to specific projects / production areas as per ACE Winches procedures.
- To assist with the packaging and delivery of all standard and project specific spares packages.
- Maintaining the safety and security of all tools, equipment and parts within designated Stores areas.
- Ensure all surplus project goods are returned to stock in good order.
- Ensure that all goods being dispatched externally leave with the correct delivery documentation.
- Ensure all PPE is issued in accordance with ACE Winches procedures.
- Ensure all designated Stores areas are kept tidy and free from hazards.
- To complete stock checks as defined within ACE Winches procedures.

**Qualifications & Skills Required**

**Essential**
- Previous Experience in a Stores, Stock Control or Supply Chain environment
- IT literate with Microsoft package experience, Excel/Word/Outlook etc
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Team Player
- Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure with a pro-active approach
- Driving License
- Forklift B1 License (optional)

Hours of Work: 37.5
