Head of Finance

My client, an innovative business within a growing sector, is seeking a Head of Finance to join them during an exciting period of growth.

The business have been expanding since their inception and with big plans to continue that through 2023 and beyond, this is an extremely exciting time for someone to join. This role will offer a chance to drive and grow your own finance function within a scale up business.

Role:

- Developing and implementing processes, systems and working with the wider business
- Producing management accounts and financial reporting
- Overseeing all accounting needs for the business including attending senior meetings and advising on financial position
- Preparing annual budgets financial planning and cash-flow forecasting
- Liaising with the Senior Management Team and assisting in decision making processes
- Overseeing all treasury activity, managing overseas payments and UK deposits
- Working with external accountants to ensure everything is moved and accounted for

**Experience**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with experience in a growing SME environment
- Management of a finance function, reviewing operations and performance
- Experience developing and implementing processes/change
- Hands on and keen to get stuck in, pro-active and confident in your experience
- Knowledge and experience of IT Systems
