**BASIC SALARY**: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Technical Sales - Industrial Components, Engineering

The primary focus of this role is to support one of our External Sales Engineers. You will be confident in your approach to communicating and will ideally have a technical/engineering background. Full training on all products and industries will be provided.

We are currently looking to add to our growing sales team, and as an Internal Sales Executive you will be responsible for:

- Researching and preparing technical quotations and proposals.
- Responding to and resolving technical enquiries.
- Negotiating and closing business opportunities whilst supporting the business to generate new enquiries.
- Liaising with suppliers on pricing, lead times and any other matters that may arise.
- Maintaining and updating Management Information Systems accurately.
- Occasionally representing the company at customer visits, exhibitions, and industry events.

This role, taken on by the right person, will provide the opportunity to grow into an External Field Sales Engineer role as you will be mentored and managed by experienced industry professionals and there is a clear long-term line of progression.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Sales Executive, Internal Sales, Technical Sales - Industrial Components, Engineering

Ideally you will be an experienced Internal Technical Sales Executive used to a technical and/or engineering environment.

You will be:

- Confident with technical jargon.
- Able to work within set timescales.
- Competent with IT systems including the full suite of Microsoft Office.
- Keen to learn.
- A team player who offers a positive, and supportive contribution to our internal and external teams.
- Personable and an enthusiastic team player.

**THE COMPANY**:
