**Senior Data Strategy Consultant**

**Quick Summary**:

- We are looking for a Senior Data Strategy Consultant to deliver data management expertise alongside supporting commercial business development, engagement management and client liaison.
- Our Senior Data Strategy Consultants operate on a hybrid working pattern, working out of our London offices a couple of times a week.
- The successful Senior Data Strategy Consultant will have a combination of core banking industry knowledge and advanced proficiency in data management frameworks and technologies.

This organisation is a leading provider of transparent and independent ratings, benchmarks, analytics and data to the capital and commodity markets worldwide. They work with commercial and investment banks, insurance companies, private equity players andasset management companies globally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with our clients to help them define their enterprise data strategy to ensure that data is managed and used as an asset
- Defining a client's 'to-be' state, which will involve the design of Data Governance Target Operating Models (TOM) through which data is efficiently managed within the organization, securing its trust and accountability
- Working on and managing projects to embed TOMs, Data Governance frameworks and data capabilities in the client organisation in a sustainable way
- Assessing and improving the client's Data Management practices, leveraging the latest technologies and tools
- Assessing data quality policies and practices

**Requirements**:

- Analytics / Data Governance Target Operating Model (TOM) design
- Business analysis of Data / Analytics / Reporting requirements
- Knowledge of process improvement, process design, and business process mapping
- Sound understanding of key data architecture components and tools, including cloud technologies and trends in the market
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Data / Information Governance principles and familiarity with processes, policies, and any of the key vendor platforms
- Experience with Data Quality management, Master Data Management processes and Data Profiling
- Metadata management / Master Data Management tool experience
- Experience with Management Information / BI Reporting delivery processes
- Familiarity with regulatory / statutory requirements impacting Management Information and Data Management, including data privacy and protection
- Supported the delivery of relevant projects in Analytics / Business Intelligence / Management Information
- Design, vendor selection and delivery experience of Data / Analytics / Reporting solutions
- Records and Document Management experience and technologies used to help manage information (and data) throughout a lifecycle

**Role Details**:

- £50,000 - £70,000
- 10% bonus
