**RECEPTIONIST, TELEPHONIST, ADMINISTRATOR**

**PART-TIME - Horsforth**

The role of receptionist, telephonist, administrator offers a mixture of home and office working. Part-time hours Monday 9.00 to 5.00 working from home and Tuesday 9.00 - 5.00 in the office. 14 hours a week.

**Role responsibilities when working from home**:

- Whilst working from home your sole task will be to answer and process our incoming calls, taking accurate and clear messages, passing on to the relevant person in line with our service level agreements.

**Role responsibilities when working in the office**:

- Meeting and greeting clients
- New business development
- General administrative tasks, filing, photocopying, scanning, and organising paperwork.
- Managing a variety of queries from drop in clients.
- Opening and closing files
- Providing support to other Fee Earners when necessary.

**Essential competencies and skills**:

- Excellent client care skills;
- Flexible, committed and with an ability to prioritise and organise work effectively;
- Professional, punctual, confident and self-motivated;
- Exceptional communication skills both oral and written;
- Ability to use initiative;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- A positive and proactive attitude;
- An ability to operate autonomously and/or with minimum supervision;
- Drive and enthusiasm;
- A willingness to learn;
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach;
- Common sense;
- Experience and ability to use a telephone / switchboard
- IT literate - we operate a paper-lite system as part of our target to reduce our impact on the environment ;
- Knowledge of case management systems

Preferably you will have at least one year legal receptionist / telephonist experience or equivalent receptionist / telephonist experience in a professional services industry. It is essential that you have customer service and client handling experience.

**Salary**: Minimum and Living Wage for age.
