**Trainee Production Planner**

**Location: Haslingden**

**Salary: £22,000 to £24,000 per annum**

**The Job Purpose**

To assist and support in the management of the production schedule at the Haslingden site, maintaining optimal efficiencies, whilst ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Contributing to Planning activity and KPI’s
- Checking and updating daily production in concurrence with adjusting the plan accordingly
- Liaising with the Sales Team regarding lead times, production dates and any issues.
- Ensuring the production plan and maintenance are actioned accordingly to minimise downtime and increase productivity.
- Support in determining the manpower, equipment and raw materials required to meet customer demand.
- Obtain output information such as finished goods.
- Support in administrative and organisational requirements.

**Knowledge, Training and Experience**
- Educated to A-Level or equivalent (essential)
- LEAN qualification or any production planning related qualifications (desirable)
- Planning or Manufacturing experience (desirable)
