**About us**

Moray Flying Club is a military not-for-profit Declared Training Organisation based at RAF Lossiemouth. Join our professional team of Flying Instructors and provide cost-effective flying to all personnel from the tri-Services as well as Reservists and MOD contractors. We operate a Club owned fleet of C152 & C172 and offer tuition for the UK Part-FCL Private Pilot’s licence (PPL), Light Aircraft Pilots licence (LAPL) as well as Night and IMC/IR Restricted Ratings.

JOB PURPOSE:
To teach students flying skills to PPL/LAPL, IMC and night-rating standards and teaching ground school modules. If unrestricted, able to provide cover for restricted instructors.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Train students to respective syllabus or towards ratings and conduct currency checks
- Ensure the safe operation of our aircraft
- Manage student pilots' scheduling and flying time
- Assess students’ ability and sign them off to do solo flights
- General aircraft preparation and administration
- Assist in day-to-day operations and oversight

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Hold a current UK CAA Flight Instructor Licence, ideally FI but FI(r) would also be accepted
- Hold a current UK CAA medical certificate
