► Start date: 15th April 2024, the family can wait a few weeks up until the end of April for the right person to work their notice period.

► Core Hours**:Term Time** - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00am - 9.00am & 3.00pm - 6.00pm (16 hrs p/w, approx. 39 weeks of the year).

**The family would consider a nanny that could only commit to the afternoon hours during term time, there is also a possibility to amend the 4 set days for the right person.

**School Holidays** - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm (40 hrs p/w, approx. 13 weeks of the year).

**Again there is a possibility to amend the 4 set days for the right person, the school holiday hours are also open to slight negotiation.

► Salary: Up to £18,600 gross per annum paid in 12 equal instalments throughout the year (dependent on hours agreed, qualifications & previous experience)

► Pets: 1 cat & 4 free range chickens in the garden.

► Duties: Term Time - drop off & collection from school by foot (5-10 minute walk from the family home) **to reiterate the afternoon shift is the most important & if someone could only commit to this they would be considered**, assisting with homework & reading tasks as required, accompanying the children to after school clubs (currently Monday’s & Friday’s), preparing a simple evening meal & relaying any messages from school to the parents.

School Holidays - full day, sole charge care of both children, planning & implementing fun, play filled days with opportunities for socialisation such as trips to the local park or other places of interest, planning & implementing fun days out in line with the children’s current & future interests, planning & preparing fresh & nutritious meals & snacks, ensuring that the areas where the children have played/eaten are tidy at the end of each day & continuously working with the parents as partners.

To be considered for this position,

You must live and have the right to work in the UK.

You must have a minimum of two immediately contactable previous employer references.

You must have an up-to-date paediatric first aid certificate or be willing to complete one.

A formal childcare qualification is not mandatory, however, you must have at least 12 months professional experience of working with children of similar ages.
