Do you want to make a real difference in your community? Could you play a vital

role in our Barrow Foodbank Team to provide advice and support to people facing

hardship?

This exciting new role will involve addressing any presenting problems to tackle the underlying issues people needing the foodbank to improve their situation and reduce the need for the foodbank.

Experience of giving advice, particularly in benefits is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. An all round good knowledge of other topics including housing, employment and family issues is needed. You’ll have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, confidence, an empathetic manner, and a good grasp of IT. You’ll work

independently and as part of the team within Barrow Foodbank.

**Salary**: From £15,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
