**THE ROLE**
I am delighted to be working with a long-established business who are locally owned and keen to continue their growth in the food market by pushing boundaries in the world of food science
**Salary**:£22,000 - £25,000 based on experience
**Location**:Peterlee, County Durham
**Flexible / Hybrid working**: Yes, once settled in the role there will be an option to do some work from home
**Working Hours**: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, hours are 9am - 5pm however there is a degree of flexibility
**Holidays**: 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (to be taken at any time).
**DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**
You will be working closely with the IT manager in order to support the in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, servers, security, and user support for approx. 60 staff. This role will give you great exposure acrossa wide range of the business IT function and provides a great opportunity to develop your skills.
Your role will cover:

- Installation, configuration, upgrade, support and inventory of desktop and laptop computers, network systems, servers, printers and mobile phones.
- Day to day administrative functions such as backup recovery, password reset and printer maintenance.
- Creation and maintenance of user accounts on all company systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, SQL Server and Sage ERP.
- End User support to the staff.

**YOUR SKILLS**
You will ideally have experience in a similar role with exposure to remote and face to face IT Support, you will be able to demonstrate a working history of
- Windows PC administration experience
- Windows Server / Active Directory administration experience
- Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel
- Tier 1 support experience, including escalation processes
- Willingness to work directly with users
- Keen to learn new skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (beneficial)
- Network administration (beneficial)

There is room to develop in this role and if you have an interest in Scripting, Database Analysis or ERP systems then there will be plenty of projects to become involved with.
