An exciting opportunity has emerged to work with Sefton Council as part of the Energy and Environmental Management team. Sefton have established an active affordable warmth team supporting residents to stay warm and well, and a dynamic education service delivered through the Eco Centre Southport.

In your role as Communities officer you would be responsible for the development, management and delivery of community energy initiatives in particular for the domestic sector and contribute to meeting the requirements under all applicable legislation, strategies and policies. To also be responsible for the co-ordination, development and delivery of community activities and education delivered through the Southport Eco Centre.

We are looking for someone who is organised and meticulous in their processing of information. We would also expect excellent client management and engagement, this could be schools, community groups or the general public.

We are planning to hold interviews on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 June 2023.
