**Quality Assurance Administrator
- Food Industry**

We are recruiting for a leading food manufacturer. The business is enjoying year on year growth and due to further investment are seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant who will report directly into the Quality Manager.

**Overview of QA Adminstrator**

To work within the QA team to ensure safe, legal and high quality products are manufactured in production.To monitor all factory based documentation ensuring it is accurate and correctly completed complying with customer and regulatory body requirements.

**Role and Responsibilities of a QA Administrator**

The role will mainly be office/desk based. This is not an exhaustive list and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the company and the overall business objectives of the Company.
- Daily check of production paperwork.
- Managing document control log.
- Updating and issuing factory paperwork.
- Packaging sample checks ensuring all information is correct.
- Submitting lab samples
- Printing of product labels.
- Maintain paperwork archive in an organised fashion to ensure traceability can be completed
- successfully in the time scale given.
- Assist in the communication of all non-conformances and concessions.
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints and responses.
- Assist in Mass Balance Exercises as per the schedule and Traceability exercises where required.
- To work effectively within the department, ensuring all aspects of the function are adequately covered during holidays and absence.
- Assist in all customer visits, third part audits and enforcement visits and to actively support the site technical team.
- Any other reasonable duties that are required by the business.

Key Skills of a QA Adminstrator
- Excellent oral and written English
- High attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving & analysis ability
- Knowledge of a high risk factory environment would be ideal
- Experience of a manufacturing environment would be ideal.

Key behaviours of a QA Administrator
- 2-3 years experience in admin roles
- Good I.T. skills (Spreadsheet)
- Good Communication
- Attention to detail
- Food experience desirable
- Professional and proactive work ethic
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to build excellent relationships and work collaboratively with staff. Strive to be highly respected in the business.
