Are you an experienced production planner looking for a new job? If so then check out this fantastic opportunity to join an established marine engineering company as a planner.

You will join a friendly team of experienced planners to execute the daily production schedules. This is an exciting time to join as they have just invested in a new MRP system meaning you will help shape and mould the new platform for production schedules.

Working with the company's new MRP system and utilising all resources, you will schedule/estimate projects, forecast headcount, ensure materials are to hand and carry out all necessary reports.

**Duties**
- Management of production schedules
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure a timely and cost-effective production schedule is executed
- Escalate shortages and potential shortages
- Liaise and collaborate with the materials and purchasing team to deliver results through effective planning and communication
- Organise raw materials in line with shop-floor demand
- Support the production team with material queries

As a successful production planner, this role will see you conduct professional responses to all appropriate stakeholder requests, particularly customer-driven queries. Understanding of fabrication processes and materials required in an engineering environmentwill be beneficial to carry out your daily scheduling.
