Equi-Trek are the leading manufacturers of equestrian and leisure vehicles, supplying to the UK and overseas. Due to exciting new contracts we are looking to appoint an experienced **Finishing Supervisor** at our head office at Stocksbridge, Sheffield.

The Finishing Supervisor is expected to control and organise the Finishing Department in its day to day work and ensure all vehicles are finished to a high standard before delivery/collection.

The Finishing Supervisor will be responsible for reporting all KPI’s and managing all aspect of the production process for the Finishing Department, including but not limited to:

- overseeing the Production process on daily basis;
- ensuring all weekly targets are met by the Finishing Department;
- continuous improvement of the Finishing Department (ensure timescale are adhered to, quality standards are met and production is cost effective);
- maintaining healthy working relationship with their team and other Department Managers, Senior Managers and external suppliers/service providers;
- following and communicating all Company procedures;
- supporting and managing the team;
- training and supporting new starters;
- ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to;
- responsible for keeping the Finishing area tidy;
- take responsibility for organising the Department and reaching the weekly targets;
- checking the quality of the products and signing off ‘job list’;
- ensure communal tools are looked after;
- ensuring all stock is kept in the correct position and that stock with a use by date is ‘‘first in-first out’’;
- leading by example;
- take ownership;
- be at level Skilled/Principle;
- know the majority of jobs within the Finishing Department;
- show commitment and dedication to the success of the business;
- understand the importance of leading and managing the team;
- understand the importance of reaching the set targets every week;
- have a flexible approach to working hours and naturally leading by example;
- have some experience in managing people;
- have a qualification in People Management/Manufacturing;
- demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- have excellent man-management skills and ability to show continuous improvement;
- have the ability to identify training needs, motivate the team and promote a positive organisational culture;
- be able to adhere to health and safety guidelines and best practice;
**The hours of work for this role are Tuesday to Friday: 7:00am to 5:15pm**
