- Driving forward an ambitious volunteering strategy for the 0-19 Child and Family Service across the district

**Your impact**

Engaging with local communities, service users and stakeholders will ensure the recruitment of an appropriately diverse, skilled and experienced volunteer workforce.

**Your skills**

You will have an NVQ Level 3 (minimum) in childcare, youth and community, health and social care, or community regeneration and can evidence a genuine commitment to continuing professional development and at least two years’ experience in a similar role.

You will have a broad experience of recruiting, supervising and developing volunteers, providing effective leadership and undertaking relevant training and you will have an excellent understanding and awareness of the impact of disadvantage and social exclusion and a commitment to providing equality of opportunity for all.

You will have an excellent understanding of safeguarding and can demonstrate the ability to work in accordance to local and organisational safeguarding policies and procedures.
