We are currently seeking a Service Advisor to join our aftersales department within our Hyundai retailer in Falkirk’s Middlefield Industrial Estate. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to develop existing customer service skills, in our thriving collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
At SDM, our Service Advisors are dedicated to delivering unparalleled customer satisfaction, surpassing expectations both in-person and over the phone.

As a vital part of our aftersales department, you'll ensure every customer receives exceptional service and gains valuable insight into their vehicle, leaving our dealership thoroughly satisfied with each interaction.

Your primary responsibilities will include promptly addressing customer inquiries regarding service and repairs, ensuring timely completion of agreed-upon work scheduled, and providing clear explanations on vehicle condition and documentation of completed job tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar automotive role is advantageous, with proficiency in computer usage and familiarity in Kerridge software preferred.

Valid UK Driving Licence required.

Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am - 5:30 pm.

Experience: 1 years Customer Focused in the Automotive Industry preferred.

Responsibilities: - Greet customers and provide them with a positive experience - Listen to customer concerns and address them promptly and professionally - Provide accurate and detailed information about services and products - Upsell additional services or products to customers when appropriate - Schedule appointments and manage service orders - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs or maintenance - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Maintain customer records and update information as needed Skills: - Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with customers - Cash handling experience, including processing payments and providing accurate change - Upselling skills to promote additional services or products to customers - Mechanical knowledge to understand and explain vehicle repairs or maintenance - Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments, service orders, and customer records Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
