The company is based close to Newcastle upon Tyne in Cramlington, Northumberland and has offices across the world including the USA, Asia, Middle East, Australia and South Africa.

We are currently recruiting for two Goods In/Out Coordinators to work dayshift on a full time, permanent basis.

**The role**:
Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Coordinators will have responsibility for successfully coordinating the logistics involved in receiving, loading, staging and prioritising incoming products and outgoing shipments, analysing problems and addressing them quickly to ensure efficiency and continued operation.They will also play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication between production, sales and quality control.

Duties will include:

- To ensure goods are packed safely and securely to ensure they reach customers in perfect condition
- To ensure all export paperwork is completed (as required) accurately to ensure no delays
- To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages notifying the relevant department of any damaged goods received and place in the quarantine section
- To liaise with customer services for returning goods for service, creating return merchandise authorisations (MA's) and managing the returns process
- To ensure all team members are adequately trained to undertake their duties
- To ensure quality standards, systems and procedures are maintained and developed
- To communicate regularly with the operations team to discuss and monitor the delivery schedule ensuring a good flow of information is maintained between the department and customer services
- To check stock of packing material frequently ensuring the company has an adequate supply from the supplier
- To load and unload trucks and vans, moving goods to relevant departments using pallets trucks and electric ride on trucks
- To notify the relevant department via the delivery note of any short shipments/mis-picks
- To ensure stock from the goods in area to the warehouse and/or packing is moved safely and stored in the correct location
- To adhere to the company Waste Segregation Policy
- To control the movement of delivery vehicles in and out of the factory
- To create and manage a robust goods in / out schedule with relevant KPI,s
- To ensure that you work in a safe manner and comply with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policy
- To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected

They must also have good communication skills, be organised, self-motivated and have a hands on approach to problem solving.

A FLT licence and experience of using MRP/ERP systems would be desirable.
