WHAT’S THE JOB?

We’re looking for a creative and entrepreneurial Chef on behalf of a brand new opening led by husband and wife duo opening in West London this summer. This new concept with a laid-back atmosphere will take you from breakfast through to dinner featuring deep dish Detroit style pizza, whole or by the slice, alongside tasty sides for dinner, lighter options through the day and fresh morning buns and coffee for breakfast. Set to be a buzzing local spot this will also be an ideal place to grab a slice and cocktail or glass of natural wine. This is largely a daytime role as the key is in the prep with the deep dish pizzas - preparing, portioning and shaping the dough ahead of time for ease of service for the evening team. Some evening shifts will be required to help with training and managing the team. This is largely a dine-in offering, but there will be a grab and go and delivery element too.

You will work closely with the owners to deliver the opening food offering and to continue the ongoing development of the menu. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative ambitious chef with an entrepreneurial spirit who really wants to be a key part of this exciting business from the beginning. There are big plans to expand this concept in the future and with that comes huge progression opportunities from this initial role.

WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an ambitious, warm and energetic chef at either Senior CDP or Sous Chef level with experience in working with dough. You will manage the kitchen confidently, handle orders, stock management, developing menus and training the team

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This is an all-day operation open from 7am - 11pm and the main offering is the deep-dish Detroit style pizza which will be prepped during the day time, so you can expect primarily a mix of morning and day time shifts. Occasional evening shifts would be required to help with managing and training up the team. Minimum
