Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week Full-Time

**About The Role**

The Integrated Front Door (IFD, you may know this as MASH in other areas) as part of Bradford Children and Families Trust (BCFT) is the single point of access for children services in Bradford for all children and young people not already in receipt of a service by BCFT.

We are delighted to have an exciting opportunity to join the IFD as a practice supervisor. The role of the practice supervisor in the IFD is varied and primarily supports the management function in the IFD from mailbox ownership, case load weighting and allocation, through to case discussions, service development, partnership working together and much more.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Reading and providing oversight on all cases received into the Integrated Front Door
- To be accountable for the quality of practice, setting standards and creating the conditions required for successful social work by motivating, nurturing and mentoring staff. Encouraging and promoting effective relationships and communication between individuals across the service and partner agencies.
- Being responsible for social work allocations and rota’s
- Undertake audit activity and moderation responsibilities, taking responsibility for the learning from these audits to be disseminated. Including liaising with external stakeholders where necessary and the development and delivery of training if required.
- To supervise individuals and lead on group supervisions as agreed with the team manager. Undertake direct observations of practice within the agreed policy and supervision procedures.
- Provide/offer expert opinion within the organisation resulting from developing expertise in one or more areas of practice and contributing to Service Planning Group.
