Ward Clerk - up to 37.5 hours a week.

Same Day Emergency Care Unit are looking for a ward clerk to become part of our team. To provide a high quality efficient administration and clerical service to unit staff, visitors and patients.
- Are you able to offer excellent customer service?
- Demonstrate efficient organisational skills?
- Work as part of a team?
- Have an understanding of IT and computer skills?
- Work efficiently in stressful and at times challenging situations?
- Have a can do attitude and a positive approach to problem solving?

Then we need you

You will be responsible to provide a reception service, acting as first point of contact on the telephone or face-to-face, for patients, visitors and other healthcare professionals

Good communication and the ability to relay confidential and sensitive information with other wards and departments involved in patient care.

To input data regarding all admissions, transfers and discharges onto Patient Administration System.

Support of non-clinical workload e.g. audit and patient feedback and to be adaptable to work as is required by South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers Novice leadership and improvement training to all new staff to the Trust.
