**Responsibilities**:
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Review and analyze financial data for accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting principles and standards.

Bookkeeping and General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing general ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of journal entries and adjusting entries.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments and collections.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts by gathering and analyzing relevant financial data. Monitor budgetary performance and provide regular reports to management.

Tax Compliance: Support the tax department in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. Assist in researching and interpreting tax guidelines.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and interpret financial data to support decision-making processes. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations.

Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits by gathering and organizing supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with audit procedures, and addressing auditor inquiries.

Compliance and Controls: Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.

Professional Development: Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance accounting knowledge and stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Collaborative Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other departments, to provide accounting support and contribute to organizational goals and initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong academic performance in accounting and finance coursework. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of integrity and ethical standards. Prior internship or part-time work experience in accounting is a plus. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are desirable but not mandatory.
