Nursery Supervisor

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Supervisor to join our team. As the Nursery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication and organisational skills.

**Duties**:

- Manage and lead a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Plan and organise daily activities, ensuring they are age-appropriate and stimulating
- Monitor the progress and development of each child, providing feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and child observations
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to address any concerns or issues
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, provide training, and promote professional development
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and health and safety standards
- To work closely and communicate with the nursery manager

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery or childcare setting
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents/guardians, and staff members
- Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds
- Valid driver's licence

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour
