**Holiday entitlement**:6 Weeks + 8 Bank holidays (Pro Rata, Based on FTE 37)

**Hours**:27 per week

Working hours/days flexible although must be able to work some hours on a Monday evening, we currently close at 7.30pm.

**Brief description of the role**:
ROTHACS is an independent registered charity providing high quality, professional support to victims/survivors of abuse through specialist counselling and an Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) service.

We provide a life-changing service helping people to build resilience and overcome the negative physical and mental consequences of abuse. We are British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) registered and abide by their ethical guidelines.

The Senior Counsellor post includes a mixture of a small caseload of client work, supervision of counsellors and supports overall management of the service. A certificate in supervision is essential although a diploma in supervision would be desirable.

The post holder acts as a deputy to the Clinical Lead. The Senior Counsellor must be accredited with the BACP or similar, e.g. UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
