We are looking for dynamic, energized, positive thinking service leads for our CMHT's in Cardiff. You will be an experienced clinician with a good understanding of managing services and leading teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe and effective care pathway for our patients.

Once established the post holder will provide operational management to all members of the multidisciplinary / multi agency team and will be responsible for leading further development of clinical services within the CMHT.

Line management for nursing, administrative, medical, social work, therapies and psychology staff in the Community Mental Health Team.

Overall responsibility for the co-ordination of the CMHT.

Responsibility to maintain Clinical Governance Standards within the CMHT.

To ensure good partnership working with other health and social work teams in the delivery of perinatal services.

To develop CMHT services in Cardiff and Vale UHB in line with strategic aims.

Audit of the effectiveness of the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
