Theatre Porter
Salary up to £22,240.50
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Theatre Porter at Ashtead Hospital. You will be expected to work on a full-time basis 37.5 on a flexible departmental rota including weekends if required.

The role
Collecting and returning patients to their rooms before and after their surgery has taken place. Providing holiday cover in the Theatre stores. Movement of patient trolleys and beds, taking in laundry deliveries and plenty of other varied duties. We are currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated person with good communication and interpersonal skills to work as a Theatre Porter on a full time basis. You will have ideally worked in a similar Porter position previously, however full training will be given.
What you will bring with you- Flexibility to work shifts patterns between the hours of 7.30am - 21:00 pm. Early, late and middle shifts. Monday to Saturday 1:3 rota- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Accuracy and reliability- The ability to work independently and as part of a team- Initiative with a flexible and proactive approach to work- Strong English skills- Good attention to detail
