Maintenance Engineeer

Job Role: Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturing

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire

**Salary**: £43,000 - £45,000+ Overtime Time ½

Hours: 4 on 4 off Rotating Days/Nights

**Job Type**: Full time, Permanent

The client:
A well-established & expanding clean food manufacturer based in Corby. They are offering a fantastic base salary and offer a flexible 24 hour support opportunity with scope for either 4 on 4 off or panama. Ideally an electrical bias maintenance engineer with experience working within a fast paced FMCG/ Production Environment. This opportunity offers an equal opportunity to progress to a team leader/supervisory role in the next 6-12 months.

**Duties**:

- Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on production machinery
- Conducting planned and preventative maintenance
- Following health and safety policies and procedure
- Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant
- Carrying out repairs on Conveyors & automated machinery in a timely manner.
- Ensuring Tool & Storage Room is organised & has an up to date inventory list
- Ensuring a clean & organised work space to maintain a healthy working enviroment.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a FMCG, Print, Automated or Manufacturing environment
- Mechanical & Electrical Capabilities
- Ability to work alone & as part of a team
- Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQs)
- 16th,17th,18th Edition Wiring Regulations - Advantageous
- Willing to learn and collaborate with engineers to share knowledge
