Heavy Plant Fitter

**Key skills required**:

- Working knowledge of railway plant (or similar) and ancillary attachments.
- Experience of equipment hydraulic and electrical systems
- Welding & Fabrication experience.
- Ability to organise and address technical issues effectively and safely.
- Thorough understanding of Health and Safety.
- Driving License

**Essential Criteria**:

- Medically fit to carry out role.
- Hold relevant qualification / Technical experience.
- CSR card to carry out role
- Ability to work on an on-call basis.
- Willingness to learn and undergo reasonable training as directed.

**Desirable Criteria**:

- Hold PTS

This is a full time, permanent position (45 hours per week) and is mainly Monday - Friday dayshift with some requirement for evening/night shift/weekends on call on a rota basis for which there will be an enhanced hourly rate of pay.
