Process Lead

**About You**
We are looking for a highly organised, highly motivated **Process Lead** who has experience within a manufacturing environment to oversee the day-to-day operation of one of our assets. Working office hours**, **you will be responsible for overseeing a 5 shift operation and providing support to the Baseline Area Team Leader.
Manufacturing leadership experience is required with the ability to communicate with others at all levels across the Mill.
This is a challenging and busy role and requires someone with excellent time management.

**Safety**
- Delivers high loss control standards and ensures compliance to national legislations and KC requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment within their area of responsibility. Application of Safety Management of Change for any changes made in the area.
**Quality**
- Leads troubleshooting and fault finding of Quality non-conformance issues. Ensure all corrective actions are implemented which address issue to root cause.
- Supports the Corrective Action Preventative Action process by investigating non-conformance and completing corrective actions with agreed timescales.
- Lead capability review process to ensure asset is capable of delivering and maintaining adherence to finished product specifications.
**Delivery**
- Champions Centreline process by ensuring all good run settings are documented and controlled, driving adherence to the Centre lining principles within the asset area.
- Supports the team with technical knowledge and advice
- Provides Process Support for all trials
- Coach teams to develop their process knowledge and provide support by managing standard practises and troubleshooting guide process.
- Manages visual management process ensuring KPI process is kept live in line with agreed schedule. - Coordinates activity planning process to ensure optimum maintenance, trial and improvement opportunities are achieved.
- Coordinates any shift coverage requirements.
- Supports the production planning processes and maintenance shut planning processes.
- Covers Baseline Area Team Leader’s Standard Work in their absence.
**Costs**
- Manages any temporary labour requirements in-line with the production scheduling to ensure minimum cost.
- Leads troubleshooting and fault finding of waste and raw material, non-conformance issues. Ensure corrective actions implemented which address issue to root cause
The role holder will be a Technical/Engineering graduate or have previous experience in a similar production leadership role. They will be proficient in modern manufacturing management techniques including LEAN Manufacturing principles. They will have strong communications skills with the ability to influence at team member level through to Mill.
