We're looking for someone who can bring a fresh perspective to the traditional role of a supervisor and help us maintain a modern, customer-centric approach to our business.
**Overview**:
As a Store Supervisor, you'll be the heartbeat of our coffee haven, responsible for supporting the management team in all aspects of store operations. From ensuring the perfect brew to fostering a welcoming environment, your role is key to our success.
The role is a zero hour contract which is reviewable after a successful probation period.
**Rate of pay**:£12.44 per hour
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Morning Brewmaster**:
- Start your day by opening and closing the store, setting the tone for exceptional customer experiences.
- Brew and serve our coffee and beverages, adhering to our high-quality standards.
- Master the art of our till system and ensure your team follows suit.
**2. Financial Wizardry**:
- Handle cash with care, maintaining its security at all times.
- Safeguard payment equipment, including our merchant details.
- Manage petty cash, making payments only against authorized invoices/receipts.
- Report any variances in tills promptly.
**3. Customer Delight**:
- Deliver excellence in service, aiming to be the best in the area.
- Handle challenging customers with a cool demeanor while maintaining a safe environment.
- Address customer feedback positively and report it to your manager.
**4. Health, Safety, and Cleanliness Crusader**:
- Ensure a safe, clean, and hazard-free environment for both team members and the public.
- Enforce health and safety rules, adhere to regulations, and record fire drills/checks.
- Keep all equipment clean and compliant with food safety standards.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness in all areas.
**5. Stock Guru**:
- Manage and monitor stock levels across all products, including ordering stock.
- Conduct daily checks on stock to maintain food safety standards.
- Regular stock-takes and handle discrepancies efficiently.
- Minimize waste and control stock rotation.
**6. Team Leadership**:
- Work closely with the management team to recruit the right team members.
- Plan and monitor the training needs of your team, ensuring compliance with the company's training procedures.
- Supervise and motivate your team for success.
- Plan & distribute work rotas
**7. Financial Savvy**:
- Maximize revenue and control overheads to ensure profitability.
- Handle cash securely, including change floats and banking.
- Manage financial documentation accurately and on time.
**Qualities and Skills**:
- Passion for the coffee industry and staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with a focus on deadlines and priorities.
- Change, incident, and problem management experience.
- Dedicated to delivering top-notch customer service.
- Creative thinker, with a knack for process improvement.
- Ability to multitask independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
