This is an exciting opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our dedicated team at the Marie Curie in Edinburgh.

**Title**:Domestic Assistant

**Salary**:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £21,318 - £21,615 pro rata per annum.

**Hours per week**:Full time - 37.5 hours per week (5 days over 7)

**Contract Type**:Permanent

**Based**:Marie Curie**:

As a Domestic Assistant you will ensure the highest possible standards of hygiene and cleanliness are met and maintained in all areas of the Hospice and that the laundry and ironing is kept up-to-date at all times.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, as well as knowledge of CoSHH and the ability to work as part of a team. You will be flexible, self-motivated and passionate about the work you do.

- Knowledge of cleaning standards and related procedures in a healthcare environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to carry out assigned tasks efficiently and effectively in a busy environment.
