Oncoplastic breast conserving techniques are used routinely and we offer immediate and delayed reconstruction with ADM meshes and implants. Pedicle flap techniques are also offered in house and we work closely with regional Plastic surgical units for those patients requiring free flaps.

We would expect an avid commitment to research and audit. The job plan allows two sessions for such endeavours, a session for admin and a session to be involved in our multi-disciplinary meeting.

If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a standard/enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 month. As this vacancy is within the division of Women’s and Children’s, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service. The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust.
