Are you a dedicated professional with at least 5 years’ experience as an Occupational Health Nurse Advisor looking for your next career move in a fast-paced and exciting environment?
As the Occupational Health Clinical Team Leader, you would be responsible for supporting the delivery of a high quality nurse led Occupational Health service to 4500 employees and 1000 volunteers. You will be responsible for the overall management of the OH Team supporting the OH Service Manager in implementing innovative OH practices. You will be responsible for developing preventative and rehabilitative services that ensure that optimum health is achieved along with delivering a range of the health, wellbeing and immunisation programmes. **The post holder**:
- Is the department clinical leader, ensuring that the standard of evidence based care delivered to staff is of the highest quality and deputises in the absence of the Service Manager.
- Has continuing responsibility for the day to day management of clinical activity including, managing resources and allocating staff.
- Monitors standards of service, client experience and safety and takes appropriate action to maintain and improve them.
- Provides a range of Occupational Health (OH) to employees of the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust (WAST) to promote health and wellbeing and to safeguard from risks arising from their work and working environment.
- Supports the education and training of team members; assesses clinical competence and identifies training needs.
- Participates in clinical audit, research and development activities to support service development.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
