Job description

37 Hours per week (full-time), Term time only plus three weeks

We are seeking to recruit an organised and efficient Exams Officer to manage the administration of both the internal and external examinations.

What you will do:

- Liaise with heads of department, the senior leadership team (SLT) and other appropriate staff regarding the examination entries, assessment procedures and protocols, and ensuring the smooth running of the examination cycle at all key stages.
- Organise and coordinate the external and internal examinations.
- Recruit, train, update and manage a team of invigilators.
- Manage the examinations budget.
- Act as a main point of contact for the centre in matters relating to the general administration of awarding body examinations and assessments.

We are looking for someone who has:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Exceptional organisation skills.
- A calm approach when working under pressure

Previous exams office experience is desirable but not essential.
