**ABOUT US**

Swn-Y-Gan is a wonderful Nursing home, providing the highest standard of Nursing care to our 28 Residents.

We are a small family-run business and have been serving the needs of Penclawdd and the local area for over 30 years. Our business is based on strong financial foundations and an excellent reputation.

We currently have a vacancy for a domestic cleaner to come and work with our great team. This is a part-time role which we anticipate to be 24 hours per week.

**Main aims of the job**
- Carry out all cleaning duties as directed
- Ensure the daily and deep clean schedules are adhered to.
- To work alongside, and support your colleagues
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition, reporting any defect to the Home Manager.
- Comply with COSHH regulations
- Ensure the correct use of PPE
- Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of our residents
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily.
- Ensure trolleys are restocked at the end of your shift and cleaning cupboards are left clean and tidy.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Have good written and verbal communication skills
- Have good judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- The ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs
- Effective timekeeping and time management
- Have a genuine interest for older people
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
