As a Disability Specialist you will be responsible for conducting assessments with clients to determine the impact of their conditions on their daily lives. Based on your findings, you will write detailed reports that will be used to decide their eligibility for disability benefits.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Assessing claimants
- Composing thorough reports based on the information gathered during assessments
**To be considered for this position, you must possess**:
- At least 12 months of post-qualification experience as a Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Speech and Language therapist.
- No prior experience as a Disability Specialist is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided
