Your Company:
An excellent opportunity has become available within a high-profile national Financial Services business, who are searching for an experienced Account Manager to work within their Southeast region. This role will straddle a nice hybrid working, with the expectationthat about 40% of the workload, predictably 2 days per week, being field based, conducting face-to-face meetings at client sites and the rest of the time will be homebased.
As a manager across the Southeast, you will have responsibility for developing new business opportunities, cementing strong relationships with assigned accounts and proactively converting sales successfully by ensuring you have a sound knowledge of the productline and an expect sales technique. The person in this position will be working closely with senior sales managers to effectively develop business sales plans and delivering results.
Your Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

- Meeting business volumes within the assigned territory utilising a variety of sales methods including face-to-face meetings, calls and virtual meetings
- Working closely with Business Development Managers to achieve targets, manage business planning and reviewing the financial objectives
- Delivering effective face-to-face sales presentations to intermediaries by accurately translating the company proposition into a compelling presentation
- Increasing the number of supporting advisors at the firm and panel level across the assigned territory
- Ensuring that a sound knowledge of the product and service line is maintained at all times, alongside knowledge of market position and competitor knowledge
- Maintaining accurate records and reports for the business and ensuring that work is done within agreed budgets

Please note: you must be able to drive and possess a driving license as this role has a field based requirement at client sites.
