Casual Equine Groom

We are looking for a **Casual Equine Groom** to work at the College Equestrian Centre ensuring the care, welfare and exercise of our horses.
Our equestrian students make use of a range of fantastic practical resources as an important part of their course. These include a 60m x 40 m indoor riding arena with spectator seating and judges area, stabling for up to 60 horses and two outdoor riding arenas.
You should be available Sundays 8.00 am until 5.00 pm and have some further availability across the week.
**Your duties
You will:
- carry out a range of tasks associated with the care, welfare and management of horses in stable and at grass
- participate in the maintenance of sustainable development of equipment and resources at the Centre including grassland and paddock maintenance
- participate in the organisation, administration and running of College events for both internal and external clients

**Person specification
- Minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
- A Level 2 Equine related qualification e.g. NVQ, WBD, BHS
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Experience of caring for horses in a busy environment
- Knowledge of appropriate Health and Safety requirements
