**JOB ROLE**:Support Worker

**HOURS**: Full Time 37.5 Hours

**LOCATION**: Liskeard, Cornwall PL14

**SALARY**: £12.00 - £12.70 Depending on qualifications

**MUST HAVE A DRIVING LICENCE AND USE OF OWN VEHICLE**

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in **Liskeard, **provides support for people with **Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health** **needs and Acquired Brain Injuries**

**About our Service**:
Single service is recruiting for a young man who lives in his own property. He is very sociable and attends various community based activities such as theatre group, swimming, gym. He enjoys cooking and is encouraged to maintain a healthy diet. He is very proud of owning his own home and takes pride in maintaining it to a high standard. The property is located close to all local amenities and is close to main transport links. 24/7 support with sleep ins required. flexible shift patterns.

**As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including**
- Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
- Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
- Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
- Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
- Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
- Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking

**Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development**
