Wood Machinist

Our client is looking for a skilled wood machinist for their busy operations.

Job Title: wood machinist

Area: Malvern

**Salary**: £15.00 ph

Day to day duties will include the following:

- working on all different types of wood machines Spindle molders, Beam Saws, Bench saws, Edge banders, (Essential)
- working from engineering drawings (Essential)
- working from cut lists to cut material on the Saws (Essential)
- helping on other sections when needed (Essential)

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

- Previous experience of working as a wood machinist cutting and fabrication of wood and timber to correct specification (Essential)
- Able to use hand and power tools, including saws correctly and safely (Essential)
- Able to read technical customer drawings effectively and measure out from cut lists (Essential)
- Able to work on own initiative and at other times with others (Essential)
