**Role Profile**

Calling all Buyers / Purchasing Administrators who are immediately available to undertake a temporary contract in the Warrington area

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a thriving manufacturing/engineering business in Warrington, playing your part within their busy Purchasing team. Due to long term leave, the team require a helping hand in raising purchase orders and ensuring material supply to multi-site locations. The contract is likely to run between 3 and 6 months although there could well be the opportunity for a further extension depending on business / team circumstances.

**What will the role involve?**
- Purchasing consumables, MRO items and component parts for a number of manufacturing/engineering sites
- Sourcing suitable suppliers and negotiating prices
- Converting purchase requisitions and raising purchase orders on the system
- Expediting deliveries with suppliers to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full

**Ideal skills and experience**
- Previous experience in a purchasing or supply chain role
- Exposure to purchasing for manufacturing / engineering, ideally sourcing MRO items / consumables / component parts
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Good systems skills and attention to detail
- Confidence to negotiate with suppliers, to improve price and lead times

**Remuneration**

£25,000 - £35,000 (equivalent hourly rate depending on experience)
