PMO Administrator

Our public sector client in Cheltenham is seeking a PMO Administrator on a 6 month contract.
This role is responsible for supporting the PMO range of activities to enable the effective and timely delivery of projects within the workstreams of a programme. This includes providing administrative support, producing reporting MI and the required material for all governance and control activities.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the PMO team, including maintaining project documentation, schedules, and budget tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of project status reports, dashboards, and other project-related communication materials.
- Contributes to the accurate completion of day-to-day governance activities (ORAs, update of logs and documentation) to ensure risks are effectively managed and escalated as appropriate
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute meeting materials.
- Ensure that project documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, and that all relevant information is captured and stored appropriately.
- Support the project planning process, including resource allocation, capacity planning, and risk management.
- Manage project schedules and timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Managing programme level risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAIDs) register and proactively chasing and challenging status.
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years of experience in a project administration or project coordination role.
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Trello.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months
**Salary**: £200.00-£250.00 per day
