**OVERVIEW: L5 EARLY YEARS / CHILDCARE ASSESSOR**

An opportunity to join an innovative and growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Childcare Assessor to join their successful team, on a freelance / associate, part time basis.

Based from home, you will be responsible for the delivery of childcare qualifications at level 5. The role is split between remote delivery from home, and visiting learners in the workplace. Part time, 1-2 days per week. May progress to more.

You will already hold the relevant Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and ideally Teaching Qualification. You will have previous experience of delivering L5 Early Years.

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: L5 EARLY YEARS / CHILDCARE ASSESSOR**

Train, assess, motivate and support Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving Apprenticeship qualifications
- Maximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.
- Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES: L5 EARLY YEARS / CHILDCARE ASSESSOR**
- A1 Assessor Award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 etc.)
- Current and relevant Level 5 vocational qualification in Childcare
- A minimum 3 years’ occupational experience within a Childcare setting in a management or team leader role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own diary

**SALARY/BENEFITS: CHILDCARE ASSESSOR**
