Ensure all PO's are placed, acknowledged and delivered in line with demand.
- Maintain system delivery dates with the most up to date information, escalating issues as required.
- Expedite parts as required by changes to plans.
- Update and correct master date for parts in ERP (Lead Times and Price)
- Take accountability for all parts with planned category
- Monitor supplier performance, working closely with category buyer
- Run all Non-Coded Requisitions daily and ensure smooth order placement.
- Ensure all MOD's are processed and communicated to Supply Chain and Master Data maintained.
- Arrange logistics for EXW suppliers in category - Including collecting relevant paperwork.
- Additional duties as may be deemed appropriate for the role and to support the team.
- Proven sourcing/buying experience in a manufacturing environment
- Tenacity and attention to detail.
- Robust negotiation and cost analysis skills.
- Be agile.
- IT Proficient (including MS suite especially Excel & Syspro or equivalent.
- Customer focused.
- Strong influential style.
- Ability to work under pressure and work well within a team.
- Knowledge of supply markets within the commercial catering industry would be advantageous.
